after applying for 485 after what time frame employer cannot cancel your GC ?

i have seen that after 180 days of applying my 485 and ead the employer cannot cancel my gc process.

Also if i do an H1-B tranfer after 485 filing do i need to start my gc process again ...? after what time frame can i do h1-B transfer so that i neednot start my GC process ....

Thanks in advance

Really the 485 is your app. The employer can't do diddly except report lies to INS. If he tries doing that and you decide to fight back, employer is in deep doodoo.

Though to be safe, follow the 180 day limit. Murthy.com thinks different, but .... be safe.

After 180 days, you donot have to restart your gc process. Before 180, it's debatable.

Silly Man Thanks for your valuable information

Anybody has actually gone thru an H1-B transfer after 180 days .

is the paper work to inform INS about change in your employer is staright forward ..can i do it myself instead of going to a Layer

Thanks in advance,

"Make sure that your 140 is Approved" ...

Not neccesarily. If your labor got cleared recently, maybe your lawyer filed for your 140 and 485 concurrently.

not necessarily

Now After Labor approval People can File 140 and 485 at the same time.

Since your's is past 180 days. I assume you have 140 Approval
