can employer cancel your 485 if h1-B transfer done
after applying for 485 after what time frame employer cannot cancel your GC ?

i have seen that after 180 days of applying my 485 and ead the employer cannot cancel my gc process.

Also if i do an H1-B tranfer after 485 filing do i need to start my gc process again ...? after what time frame can i do h1-B transfer so that i neednot start my GC process ....

After U receive 485 receipt, employer cannot jeopardize the process. Employer can never cancel 485, since 485 is supposedly done by the individual. Employers try to withdraw I140, and many cases get employment RFE, but most manage to get GC.

After 180 days from RD of 485, you can use another employer's job offer in similar position to use AC21 and get GC.

You can do H1 transfer as early as you need it. Many argue that the 180 days is for INS to make a decision in your case, not the waiting period to change employers. I subscribe to this opinion.
