Can Employer cancel the I-140 and I-485

Hi,
I crossed 180 days after applying the greencard. I have some problems with my current employer and he\'s the one who is processing my greencard. If change my employer now, do you think he can cancel my entire GC processing.

I don\'t think so. But if you leave the company/being laid off, I believe your employer can notify INS.

Is INS going to cancel my 485 even if I find another job with similiar kind of responsibilities/job description?

I can\'t see that AC21 would have any meaning if this was permitted.
