Can EAD applied before fingerprinting????? Confused

Hi,
   Is it possible to apply eAd before getting the finger printing done?I got notice for finger printing-Does this mean that NSC has seen my file or otherwise.

Yes, You can apply for EAD before FP.
Normally, everyone applies along with I-485 petition.
