Can dependent study on EAD?

I (Principal Applicant) and my wife filed 485 at same time and my case was approved last year (March 05). We are still waiting for her approval. She had her EAD and Advance parole.
She is planning to go back to school. My questions are

1) Can she study on EAD? (Off-course with renewal every year)

2) According to school
“EAD card doesn't not prove your permanent resident status. It indicates that you are allowed to work in the US”
They are ready to file F1 visa?

Any link saying that you can study on EAD?

Study on EAD

Indeed, an EAD does not give you Status. Based on my experience being on AOS is enough to go to school. A while back I took some classes at ASU while on EAD and I even qualified for In-State tuition. On the same token, I started my Masters at a private school also on EAD and qualified for resident tuition.
Not only that, I don't think your wife can apply for F1. I believe F1 is a non-immigrant visa and is granted only when you do not have an intent of becoming an immigrant. Once you are on AOS...that intent cannot be true.
