Can B1 be used to enter US for tourism

My sister obtained a B1 visa for business trip 2 years back. The Visa stamped was 10 year B1/B2 multiple entry. She now wants to visit for tourism/ visit family.

Can she use the same B1/B2 visa or does she have to reapply for tourist visa?

B1 visa is the tourist/business visa. As long as the visa is still valid, she can enter the US without problem.

B1 is not for tourist, but a B1/B2 visa is valid for business and pleasure. Yes you can use it for pleasure.
