Can anyone tell me where to buy tickets to India

Guys,
I am plnning to go on vacation anytime between mid week of DEC-mid week Jan. I have called 15-20 travel agents but everyone says everythign is booked for that period or you have to pay very high price to get the ticket between that period. Can anyone help me out in getting tickets with descent fare.

I just tried this site but almost everything is not avialable, even if you select the most expensive flight, it will show not avilable. In some cases I found 3 legs confirmed but one leg unavilable.

You will see high fares until dec 25th. Because of the peak season. Try any date after Dec 25th. Fare will be OK.

Try American Express Travel Agency. Ask them for Consolidator Fares, not the regular available fare. I got a good deal there.
