Can anyone post Boston EAD/AP experience?

Congratulations! Can you answer the following questions. Thx.
1) What reason did you give/write (Part 7)for getting AP?
2) What did you write for intended date of departure?
3) What questions officer asked regarding AP?
4) Is it a multi-trip AP valid for one year?

I said that my family and parents are based in India and I need to visit them.
2) What did you write for intended date of departure?
I said not decided and length of trip not known
3) What questions officer asked regarding AP?
No questions. They took the form and called my name after 20 mins and gave me the AP
4) Is it a multi-trip AP valid for one year?
Yes
Can you pls post the whether you had taken the 485 receipt or the fedex receipt?.Because I have the fedex receipt mailed on Oct 18th can I go.And also my H1 is expiring on Dec, 2001.Pls advice.Would really appreciate.Thanks
I had 485 receipt. With the form I gave them a copy of 485 receipt, H1 Visa, front and back of current I-94(these requirements are posted in immihelp.com). They took all the paperwork. Asked where would I travel to. I said India. They asked us to clooect EAD at on room. and AP at counter 14.
Thats all it was very fast and pleasant experience

got AP using Fedex receipt

Yesterday i went to Boston office to get AP. The man who sits front(gives ticket) said that i have to waite for 90 days after mailing 485 package to take AP using fedex receipt. I said that it is emm....
so he gave me token and said that i can try..but he is sure that they wont accept mine.
when i went to counter ...without asking me even a single question (i said it is emm)the person there issued me AP.
i need not cancel my ticket now.
