Can anyone explain what this message means

Last week, I send a snail mail to BCIS to inquire on status of the RFE which I never recevied. Here is the email reply I got today.
What should I conclude of this mail ...

On June 21, 2006, we received your response to our request for evidence
or information. However because preliminary processing was complete,
the remaining processing time will be less than the maximum stated in
this message. You will receive a written decision on this case. You can
use our processing dates to estimate when this case will be done.
Follow the the link below for current processing dates.
 
I got this message soon after I responded to the RFE (in my case for AP).

Maybe they are trying to say that Ur process is close to completion now.
 
The worst case could be : USCIS took your inquiry (the snail mail) as your response to the RFE without looking into it yet. It's likely to be true if your snail mail is estimated to arrive at USCIS around 6/21/2006. Anyway, you should call them up and make it clear.

I think that balabala is right.
Can you not schedule an infopass appointment and go talk to them?

I sincerely hope all your issues are resolved soon.

Your lawyer might has received the RFE and responded to it. Check with your lawyer. Anyway, I am in same boat as you are, is there any more update in your case?

It was i485appliedec01 who got the RFE not me....
