Can anyone explain this ?? LUD?

So I had applied for my I-140 back in January 2007, Premium processing and was approved back in January as well.

I applied for I-485, AP and EAD for myself and my wife in May with a RD of June 6th. I'm current and in the ROW category.

I received an email today with an update on my case and I got all excited but then I saw that it was an update of the I-140 case saying it was approved. The LUD also updated to 6/29/2007.

Does this mean that my case has now been looked at? Or could this just be a mistake or something? None of the LUD's on the other cases have been updated yet.
 
Update

So I looked again now and the LUD for all of my cases have been updated to 6/29/2007.

Why would the LUD of the I-140 be updated to todays date as well?
 
With no FP notices yet? We've been looking in the mail everyday for these FP notices and nothing has come yet.
 
FP notices are pretty much disconnected with the approval process of 485 when your application is pending ( That is what I have been seeing). I saw people getting fp notices within 2 wks of filing 485 and for some later. The LUD are related to your 140 approval, it is not unusual for the LUDs to change more than once close to the approval. You will defenitely get your FP notice prior to your EAD approval. EAD process may be a little slow because of 485 processing load..
 
Why would the LUD on my 140 change now after it was already approved back in January?

Also, is it possible for the 485 to be processed and approved before the EAD is processed? I guess I'm just being hopeful here and trying to see if we can possibly get our approvals this fiscal year.

We haven't received any FP notices yet tho .. so I'm guessing not :-/

any thoughts?
 
I dont know, but I have seen the same thing for other members of this forum. If you are working for the same empoyer, you neednt worry about LUD on 140 in my opinion. It could be that they are processing your 485s too.
