Can anybody help me on my "expedite request" to VSC?

I sent "expedite request" by myself to VSC through fax and certified letter on May 2005 but I didn't get any response by any way. Thus I resent it again at the beginning this month but I didn't get anything either.

It is very frustrating because my case has been almost pending for 2 years.

How long does it usually take to get any response on this type of inquriy?

BTW, I didn't go through this by any lawyer If VSC did response to my previous lawyer (which I fired at early this year), I am now in a big hole because some other notification like FP2, REF, etc might missing too.

Please help!!!!

If u don't get a response within 72 hrs on ur expedite request, then it is assumed that ur request is denied. Keep trying, however, if u r EB3 there is no way they can expedite as no visa numbers r available. If u r EB2 then send a request everyday till Sept 30, 2005, after which all doors close as all categories will retrogress on Oct 1. Involve ur congressman and atleast find out where is ur case stuck. Good luck !

I know my case stucks in the so-called Name Check and I am EB2.

Even they denied my request, they should at least send me a notice, right?

Actually my biggest concern is "if I didn't get response to my request, I might also miss some other notification from VSC".

Include your fax number (if you don't have one register online efax ) in your request, you will receive the reply in less than 3 working days. Earlier I do have the same experience. My attorney told me this trick and its working.

When can we request for an expedite request? My 485 is pending with CIS since Jan 05, I know it is not as bad as many others, How do we contact VSC? is there a fax number where i can put in my request or email? Can you please share what format you used for the request.

I think it is too early for you to send a expedite request. If you have a good reason to request expedite here is the information from http://uscis.gov/graphics/fieldoffices/vermont/aboutus.htm

General Expedite Procedures By Fax
The VSC has always been strict with respect to approving requests for special processing. Individuals who are seeking expeditious handling can FAX the Center at (802) 527-4816 to request an expedite.

The fax line is available 24 hours a day. Expedite requests are reviewed Monday through Friday from 8:00AM to 4:00 PM.

Here is the sample and USCIS Fax included in the sample letter. I wish all the best.
 
Folks....

Anyhow....Congrats to those who got lucky when the STUPID USCIS made EB3 current......uneducated move.

Now.....there is no use lobbying, Congressman...AILA etc.
This will aggravate USCIS employees....and that hatred will come back to us.

Be patient, wait for your turn, keep extending your visa......and your day will come.

STUPID USCIS...again
