Can anybody explain this EAD online message. Thanks.

Hi,

Can anybody clarify who went through this already?


My EAD approved on Jan 13th. The online message says that
"We ordered a card .....", a standard message. As I am waiting for the card, the message changed to the below on Jan 31st. Does it mean they mailed the card?


Application Type: I765, APPLICATION FOR EMPLOYMENT AUTHORIZATION

Current Status:

This case has been approved. On January 31, 2003, an approval notice was mailed. If 14 days have passed and you have not received this notice, you may wish to verify or update your address. To update your address, please speak to an Immigration Information Officer during business hours.



I still have not received the card nor heard from the lawyer.

In either case you got approved.. The strange part is that the second message should have came first.

Anyway, what is your ND? Thanks.

this is my best guess. on jan 13, your case got approved and ins ordered an ead card for you. the card was processed and sent to you on jan 31st. wait for 14 days and try to ping your lawyer with these details.

Thanks. I thought this kind of message is for AP only. Let see if I get the card in the next two weeks. My ND is Dec 5th. Approved on Jan 13th.
