You will get soon too .......don't worry -- Very soon

I guess no one wants to share the Passport Stamping Experience....:(

Some observations:

Place where you have to go for stamping was noted on the approval notice. In San Jose, you can join Appointment line [separate line]. Go in the time bracket mentioned in the approval notice. Take 2 ADIT photos without shadows, AP [if any], EAD [if any], passport, and approval notice for each person approved.
Some people have reported that it is OK to go with courtesy copy of the approval notice. Do not have coins in your pockets. Ornaments, rings, watches, cell phones etc will delay your security screening. Food/drink is not allowed inside.

Just read the approval notice and follow the instructions!

STamping Done - SFO (oct4,2002)

************OCt 4, 2002*****************

Passport stamping done in SFO (on OCT 4)
the entire process took 90 minutes from the moment we entered the building.
we took the following:
1) I-94
2) Passport
3) 2 Recent pictures (for both of us)
4) EAD

We forgot to take Advance Parole (silly mistake)
the officer was very nice , he said you can either mail INS office back those advance parole approval notices or destroy them. And said please do not use them at all.

I would suggest do take the advance parole notices.

He confirmed the address where the actual green cards will be mailed and took our finger prints and signatures on the I-89 Form(I guess that is what it was called).

Overall the entire process was very smooth.

Please write if you have any confusion or any Question about the process.

Good Luck to all who browse this forum and those who don't :)
Just hang in there , you all will get the approvals and the gc's soon.
My best wishes to all desi's and non desi's :)
