Hi every body

I have a case going on against the USCIS as a PRO SE.
few day ago I received a two-pages letter form the court. the title of the first page is "ATTORNEY DESIGNATION"
and it is saying this:
"Please take notice the the undersigned Assistant United States Attorney has been designated in the above captioned case. this designation is provided for informational purposes only and does not constitute an appearance, a motion, or a responsive pleading and does not waive any defenses. See LR 83.16(b)."

the second page says the following:

"CERTIFICATE OF SERVICE"
"The undersigned Assistant United States Attorney herby certifies that in accordance with FED.R.CIV.P.5, LR5.5, and the general order on Elecrtronic CAse Filing (ECF), the following document:"

"ATTORNEY DESIGNATION"
"Was served pursuant to the district court's ECF system filters, if any, and was sent by first class mail on ##/##/2008, to the following non-ECF filters:
"

Please Let me know what this suppose to mean, and it does have to do with my naturalization?????

Thanks alot.

You may want to post this is the "Anyone thinking about a lawsuit.." sticky.

All it looks like is a notice that the USAG was served the papers you filed in your lawsuit.

As an attorney myself (albeit not immigration) I can tell you exactly what is means - what happens when you file a case it goes into general pile and when an attorney (from the other side) gets assigned they send you a notice. The notice simply informs you who will be going against.
