Can any body share the experience for Indonesian Chinese Asylee case?

I have some questions regarding Indonesian Chinese asylum, might be you guys could help me out here:

I am still waiting for my approval, my I485 Received date is January 3, 2000,
Notice date is January 12, 2000. And did the finger print on last March 30, 2004.
How do I know that my finger print it pass or not pass from FBI?
Is there any Indonesian Chinese asylee get approval yet?
How long usually it take from finger print to get an approval?
If I get approve what the next procedure?
I have called and check my status but I was said still the same
and they said they will send me a letter for my case.
Beside from INS web-site can we trace our case where the case is going now,
or might we will know who handle our case? since It same our case is so mystery, we do not know in real time our case is.
My passport is already expired, shall I extend it to Indonesain Embassy?
Since I am a asylee and I do not want to go to Indonesain Embassy or have something with Indonesian Goverment I read from FORUM when some one get approved they need to bring the passport but my passport is expired already, do you know what I have supposed to do?

Thank you to all of you in advance!

You are NOT suppose to use your passport. They can process you without a passport.

They are not processing cases on a strict first in first out basis. Cases are processed roughly based on filing dates. It would be a good bet that they will approve your application within the next few months. You will just have to be patient and let the process take its course.

If you send me a private message I will give you a phone number where you can check on the status of your FBI check.

When you are approved, you do NOT need to bring your passport to the USCIS. They will give you a new I-94 as proof of your approval.

It is incredibly refreshing to read that you "do not want to go to Indonesain Embassy or have something with Indonesian Goverment." They are many presumably fake asylees who cannot wait to show off their national passports or visit the countries which supposedly persecuted them. This is why people are so skeptical about asylum these days.
