Hello,

I have an employment based green card and am working for the petitioner. I intend to keep working for several years with the same petitioner. Can I accept work from other companies Or should I only work for the petitoner and no one else?

It is best for people in my profession to work for multiple companies, not just one.

Another questions, my petitoner is offering me to be employed as an independent contractor. Is this allowed by immigration?

Yes. and Yes

Thanks for the answer.

Another question:

I transferred the money I earned when I had H1B visa for several years from the US to my home country after paying all kinds of taxes. Now, after having green card, I wanna transfer the money back to the US. Will I be subjected to pay taxes again for the same money.

I was told that GC HOLDERS are taxed in their worldwide income. Someone advised me to keep those money in home country to avoid taxation for another time

No, since it's not income.

Since, as you point out, GC holders are taxed on their worldwide income, why do you think that where the money is located will make any difference in its tax treatment?

But the interest/dividend you earned in your home countries account is taxable. If you have already paid tax for that interest/dividend in your home country and your home country has DTA treaty with US,you may not need to pax tax for that here.

I am not sure how IRS will find that, but that is the advise if you want to perfectly legit.
