Can a pregnant lady on H4 status return to the US after Canada landing?

If a lady who is the dependant of the primary applicant gets pregnant after medicals but before landing and wants to return back to the US will she face any problems with US immigration?
Can US BCIS deny entry only on the basis person is pregnant and wants to enter USA only for giving birth?
Has anyone known or experienced such a situation. This is for my ex roommate who is facing this dilemma.
