can a asylee get sponsored by a relative???

me and my family are living in the usa for almost four years.we applied for political asylam more than three years ago.but because of our attorney's mistake our case is still on hold. no decisions have been made yet so we hired a new attorney...still nothing happpend .. but my uncle is a green card holder teacher here.can he sponsor me for student visa. i got accepted to both cuny and suny too.this fall i will be going to city college. so to continue my education can my uncle sponsor me.. plus he will be a citizen in a year.
plzzzzzzzzz answer my question..i m really confused and worried about all these

Yuor Uncle cannot sponsor you for a Green Card. He can sponsor you for your Student Visa if he can show proof of the availability of funds required for your schooling. Even after your Uncle gets his Citizenship and he sponsors you, it will take many years for you to get your GC.
