Called VSC today again. last friday when i called a lady told me that she has given my info to her supervisor and the I wil get a reponse in two weeks. it had been only a week today... called again out of frustration and helplessness

The lady today after asking my A number told me that my case is under review...asked if the case is with an officer ...she said yes. I asked her about a time line in which I could hear some thing may be week two weeks... she said that I should check the website update periodically.

what does the case under review mean. any body any idea?
 
under review means it is waiting to be assigned to an officer.

if all the checks /NC completed then you will see approval very soon.

Are you allowed to call the INS about your application status even before your priority date becomes current ?
 
They told me the exact same stuff in January, including that my checks are all done. Then in MArch they told me that I still have NC pending.
Go figure.

yup..the same here

me too.. one officer looked at my file and said all NCs done and I am good to go..Now they say that my NC is pending.
