called TSC today 10/02/07

For many people including me, they told "No Visa availabe, check in October". Did anyone call TSC to check the status? When I called this time, they told "Name Check Pending". Now I guess this will be the new standard reply.

Calling now... in Q.....
 
I called this morning (around 11am pacific time). Got connected after
half an hour wait. Asked specifically if Background check pending . They
said yes it is still pending !

She took my SSN, DOB, country of birth and ask my name too...

Q)For my case status inquiry from June 07 to Aug 07 when the time my PD is current, all of the IO's told me there is no visa number available check in Oct 07 and now wondering is there any visa number available for my case?

IO:Hold on....she took 2 min time and said, that time no visa number available for your case and now your PD is not current(i.e Apr 22 2001) for India EB3.

Q)is my namecheck and FP are good?

IO: Yes, everything looks good. (except your PD :confused: (this is my version)).

So they always have answer for all our questions. (no visa, pd not current, you case is different, they r procesing, u r in line, assigned to be officer, etc...)

Now you guys can think how much is the advantage of calling IO to get status.
 
Man this is crazy!!! I got the same answer yesterday when I called the TSC IO except that she said a visa number had been requested last month.I think we will be hearing the same reply from now on for maybe another 2 years.
 
That's the GAME, In Sep, the response is "Requested for Visa", in Oct "your PD not current", in Nov "Waiting to be assigned", in Dec "Have been assigned, waiting for review", in Jan "Actively processing, please check in Oct" :D:D:D:D

Then how come you had LUD's when they are only looking at Apr 22 2002 cases.I think the IO's have no idea of what is going on.

maybe they will find more of the differnt kind of statuses and add it to their T_STATUS table:D
 
you will get it soon (worst case in November)

Prority and NAme check

MY PD Is current but they said Namecheck is struck so how they will process the application based on the priority date.I think they wont touch any application for this year for priorty date and NameCheck
 
Do we have anyone here with priority dates on or before Apr 22, 2001??We could see if anyone of them get approved.

my PD is usually current (EB2 row ) .... but I am stuck in namecheck since
more than one year (sept 2006) !!

I have the priority date of Feb 2000 EB2 India . Was stuck in NC hell for more than 2 years. God is going to show mercy on me soon.
