called IO -- APPROVED -- No magic mail or message change yet.

Hi all ,

Today called USCIS IO to know status of i485. Officer asked for Lin number , name and address after that he replied the case has been approved on 25th AND CARD is ordered in production.

But I am wondering that I didn't receive Magic mail or Online case message didn't change. Not even LUD.

Any body has this kind of experience at USCIS or know what's happening at USCIS ?

Congratulations. My spouse called NSC today and they told that our applications for review at officer's desk and said it could take either 5 mins or 5 yrs to process the application.

WHEN i called 10 days back officer told that our applications for review at officer's desk.

When I called today said that I application is approved on 25th June 2007. But NO MAIL -- MESSAGE CHANGE , NOT EVEN LUD ....

I DON'T KNOW TO CELEBRATE THIS MOMENT OR NOT.

Yes. Please celebrate this moment as you are indeed approved. It happens that you have called in advance and it has not been updated. You have called directly IO and that is the LATEST & GREATEST. Your message is going to change pretty SOON. HOLD ON...

Approved -- NO EMAIL -- NO ONLINE CASE CHANGE OR LUD

Called USCIS to check status of spouse & MYSELF, Nice officer said '485 APPROVED on 25th' . But no email , no case status message change & even LUD .

Called NSC

I just called NSC and a nice IO picked up the phone. She said that my case is in the staging area waiting to be assigned to an officer and it could take upto 120 days. What does that mean? Is it anywhere near approval?
