Mainly want to check 485 status, change of mailing address and renewal EAD.

My 485 info RD: 9/28/2000
            ND: 10/26/2000

Renewal EAD & AP RD: 08/14/2001
                 ND: 08/16/2001
EAD Approved for my wife: 08/21/2001 Received on 08/27/01

My EAD did not approve yet.

IIO was told me that they issued the RFE, I will receive within 30 days. Is it common for RFE to receive within 30 days? I don\'t have any idea what for RFE? How many days to relieve the RFE??. AVM did not updated?

Currently, I am working on EAD, it expires on December?.

Anyone had this kind of situation?. Please suggestions? I am worrying..
 
If no RFE received within 14 days, call IIO

I would suggest that if you do not receive RFE within 14 days of issuance, call IIO to get them to resend it to you. You have 12 weeks to respond to RFE from date of issuance after which a case is considered abandonned.

RFE could be for anything from pay-stubs, employment letter, birth certificate, to incomplete medicals/vaccinations.

If you are renewing your EAD.. I saw somewhere on this forum that you can go to the local INS and get it renewed if it takes more than 90 days after your EAD ND. So sometime in November you can (possibly) go to your Local INS and get the EAD renewal. Talk to your attorney about this. Coming to your RFE.. yeah .. it is possible that they might be asking for your Employment letter/pay stubs etc info. Generally it should take only 2 weeks to receive the RFE, the IIOs at VSC will say 30days... but it takes between 10 to 15 days before you receive it. So contact your attorney and find out what is happening !

  Just FYI. As I was told earlier, you have only 12 weeeks (84 days) to respond to the RFE. So get on it ASAP.
