Call from embassy

this is the first time i am posting in this forum. but i have been following this since i recieved my 1st NL. it have been a geat help for me. first of all i would like to thank all of you for your valued contributions.
the thing is i am waiting for my interview tommorow. but i had two missed calls from the embassy last thursday. i was in a conference and could not answer my phone. anyway i tried to call them afterwards, but they could not trace who had actually called and why. it is understandable, considering the large number of DV winners they are handling. the lady answered told me that if it is necessary, they would call me back.
but i did not get any phonecall since then.
has anyone experience the same thing? or anyonre has any idea why it could be?
the only thing i could think of is there is a vital mistake in my application. but they would not contact me for that would they. i mean they would simply deny me at the interview.:confused:
 
Hi,

If u suspect the call came from the embassy, just call them back or go there to verify for urself. The embassy call ppl for different reasons, so l'll advice u to contact them. All the best.

You can ask them is everything OK with your case and thats it. Maybe they wanted to reschedule your interview.
Anyway, you'll find out soon so I wish you luck!

same problem

Today I had missed call from embassy. They were not able to tell me why and who called. But I think it is not because of visa denial or something - maybe another date for interview or something like this.
 
thanks very much for all of you. i feel better now. aactually i tried to call them . but same as mattin78, they could not give me a reason. it seems its hard for them to trace their own calls, since they make so much of them.
i have my interview tomorrow anyway. i will tell you what happens tomorrow.

i had a successful interview today. that is pending on one of my police clearance. as far as i understand they will issue us visa when we send them the missing PC.
they didn`t tell us about why they called and i didn`t ask. seems they resolved what ever the problem they had all by themselves.

No need to panic. I just put them few questions by an email and nice lady from embassy decided to call me back (she probably hates writting emails). If somebody will have missed call from embassy, dont be afraid.
