My finace is from Canada. I am from New York. We do not want to wait for the K-1 visa process as we understand it can take up to a year. So he is going to soon come to live with me and we are going to get married.
Can someone please point me in the right direction for information on this process of getting a green card for my spouse?
What exactly should he have with him as in documentation that will speed the process? Passport, birth certificate, etc?
Where do we start that will give us the best chances of quick success?
