We received the notice saying our labor has been passed to Fed level in January.

My question is:
By looking at current processing time table, San Francisco is processing 01/2001 Feb level labor. Does it mean we have at least one more year to wait?

*SIGH*

NO.. YOU MAY NOT NEED TO WAIT FOR 1 YEAR IF YOU ARE NON IT...

Many Cases (NOT IT!) have been approved by SF DOL in the time period of 1 week to couple of months... I know people got approved with RD of 10/02 and 11/02... & also have seen many IT cases waiting from 12/01..

one year

Well, one year is not bad, if they tell u 1 year, u can then plan something in life, what's more harrasing is no visibility, it could take 1 year, or more or less (yes, some cases were certifed within 3 months).
most of us have waited for a year already.
Hopefully PERM would make things faster.
just Relax and enjoy the ride.

How do they determine whether an application belongs to IT? By DOT code or by company nature? My DOT code is 999.131-111.

int4 ,

13-1111 Management Analysts is not IT.... They look at job profile not company nature..

DOL AVM update

SF RIR JAN 02
SF NON RIR MAY 02 (Jumped 5 months in 10days !)

Seattle RIR AUG 02
Seattle NON RIR MAR 03 (Became Current !!)

How come Non-RIR is faster than RIR?

I thought it's the other way around.

When do you think labor electronic filing will be in place? June? July?

Yeah It's surprizing NON RIR going faster then RIR at DOL...

Everybody says PERM will be effective from July 03... lets hope so
