Buying and selling a HOUSE

I am wondering whether a H1B visa holder can buy a house or not for living in USA. Is there any problem to sell the house when he is leaving the country?? I don't know there is any penalty or not for the citizen of other countries during home selling. If you have experience, please share with me. I am considering to buy a house for living.

An H1B visa holder can buy a house, no problems. He can also sell a house, there are no restrictions. Only thing checked will be the credit history yo get the mortgage. It is the same for everyone, regardless of visa status.
