Buy/Sell/Rent multiple properties on H1B

Am I allowed to buy and sell multiple properties in USA on H1B?
Is it ok with INS if I buy 3-4 properties and then profit from them by renting them out? Is it a legal activity on H1B?

Investing passively in US is legal. However the real estate market is so high renting and making profit is not going to happen immediatley. In S CA 2 bed room condo is just $ 550K, you will get rent hardly 1600. Work out your mortgage, taxes, insurance and expenses carfully.

What is passive ? can I rent or can I not rent out the property ?
Do i necessarily need to have a property manager, an american citizen or PR, to the leasing agent, or can I draft the lease myself as landlord and collect rent and manage property myself?
