For a BusinessWeek magazine story about immigrant labor abuse and how it is becoming more prevalent among skilled immigrants such as doctors, teachers, and engineers, we are looking for people who could share their experience on the record.
Specifically, we would be interested to hear from H1B or other
visa-based employees who have filed complaints with the U.S. Department of Labor, filed a lawsuit or hired a lawyer, had wages withheld by their employer in violation of their signed contract, or faced the threats that their visa would be revoked unless they agreed to reduced wages or other abusive activities.
