Business loan- Asylee with pending I-485

Hi,

Can an asylee with pending adjustment of status petition apply for business loan? To qualify for loan one has to be permanent residence or US citizen. What document can prove the pending adjustment asylee as permanent resident?

You have to be a PR or USC to qualify for a SBA loan, but if it's not a SBA loan then it depends on the lender what's their requirements on immigration status.

In many cases, Asylees are considered permenant resident for loan purposes; therefore, don't be scared when they "you must be a permenant resident" to quality benefits. Do extra research into the definition of permanent resident as defined by the loan issuing entity, including talking the managers and top people...Good luck
