can someone build his credit history while he is asylum seeker or he need to be granted status to start with it

No after you apply for asylum, you will need the working authorization and after that you can apply for ssn.

My credit score started showing up the moment i opened bank account (before i applied for asylum) .... it stays there with you and in due time when you apply for asylum and later whenever you get your SSN, it simply merges with it.
for Bank of America it will show as FICO score on your online profile

You don’t need ssn. If someone adds you to his account as an authorized user, you will starts bulid credit history. Or if you get secure card without ssn, you can build aswell. Credit history matches with name and birthday.

No you don’t have to. You can maintain a credit score, you can apply for credit cards or loans, you can buy a house or start a business. You don’t need a GC to do all these. Best of luck !
