Has anyone brought a spouse to the interview and they just waited for you in the waiting area? this would be for the los angeles area.
Only time you should take your spouse is IF you are filing under marriage based naturalization OR if you both have interview at the same time. Even for marriage based naturalizations, it is usually not a requirement.

In LA district, you can take your spouse to the waiting area. For interview it depends upon the IO .

Spouses are allowed to sit in the waiting area but not for the actual interview.
