Bring my wife to the US, as GC holder

This the first time I post in this side of the forum, as DV lottery winner, i will probably get my visa in August or September, and come to the US after, i am thinking about getting married, so there two option :

1- Getting married what if i get married now and put my wife in the application so that both of us will get the interview at the same time in august, and it would be much easier.

2- Getting married but without including my future wife with me in the interview, that means i will start the process of bring my wife until i go to the US.

Now am talking about the second option , what are the process to bring your wide as GC holder ?

Go for #1. Option #2 will take over 2 years, during which your wife has to remain outside the US (unless she can get a nonimmigrant visa independently of you, like H1B).

I am talking more about the second option , simply because i did not get married yet and it will take long to get married and prepare for the option 1, in which i dont want to lose my chances on it. In addition to that, i rather prefer to go US and prepare myself there ( get house, a job and good situation ...) and then bring my wife after.
so the question about option 2 , how long does it take to apply for my wife to come US if i am green card holder ? how hard it is ?
 
As I said before, the wait time for spouses of green card holders is over 2 years. Look at the F2A category in the visa bulletin ... currently they're doing the final processing for people who applied in November 2010.

But historically the wait for the F2A category has been 4 years, so it could increase back up to that length of time.

As for how hard it is ... it's more paperwork and expense than joining you for the DV lottery.

If it's the job situation you're worried about if she immigrates simultaneously with you, there ways to manage that ... after initial admission as a permanent resident she can go back to the original country for up to a year (2 years with a reentry permit) while you organize your job, house, etc.

And you don't need an elaborate wedding for this immigration purpose. Get a simple legal wedding in a courthouse, then have a big fancy ceremony at a later date.
 
Ok thanks again, my case number is high (70k), so probably my interview will be in august, my question is : if i get married those days, can i put my wife in the interview ? how can i do it ? it seems for me hard since it will compromise my chances in the interview ?

No. Getting married won't hurt your chances. That's a common fallacy about the DV lottery.

Unfortunately, i still do not know whom i am marrying, and if i find here i should convince her to come with me in the US, that is why I am feeling it is gonna be the second option, which is going alone to the interview then getting married later and bring my wife as GC holder ...

In that case there are other options, like don't marry anybody right now. Then you'll have time to look for a wife from your culture who is already in the US so you won't have 2-3 years of separation while waiting for her to come to the US. Or take the time to look for somebody in your country with the education and work experience to qualify for a work visa like H1B or L1, so they can move to the US on that visa while waiting for the green card.

Or stay single until you're a citizen, then you can bring your wife or fiancee to the US in less than a year. If your wife has to wait 2-3 years in your country for the green card process, you'll be living alone in the US for that time anyway, so you might prefer to be officially single instead.

If she doesn't already have a tourist visa, she probably won't be able to get one if married to you. The visa application requires the applicant to list close family members in the US, including spouse or fiance. Having a US citizen or permanent resident spouse or fiance in the US will make her visa likely to be rejected.

Thanks for the time that u give me for answering,

I dont think i am gonna get married these days , so i think the best solution, is if i find a women later in my home country, i can tell here to have tourist visa before marrying me, and then if we get married and she can come with tourist visa to the US, can she stay with me at this time ?

The tourist visa only allows spending up to 6 months at a time in the US. After staying in the US for 6 months straight it will be necessary to leave for 6 months or there will be a high risk of being refused entry.
