Both TN visas revoked.. solutions?

I'm a Canadian citizen. Graduated with b.arch degree. I have two jobs. 9-5 and a part time, both approved tn statuses

Two weeks ago I was offered a new position at another company as an assistant project manager (9-5pm).

I took all the necessarily documents to peace bridge where I was denied by an officer who had valid points about how my roles do not aligned to my education. Fair enough.

What I did wrong was I told him that I quit my current job and my last day is upcoming Friday. He said I have 10 days from that Friday to leave the country and said he would let me back in.

I then showed him my other tn which was valid until 2019. With that employment, he looked through my tax return and saw that I had income as self employment (1099). He said I can't be self employed under TN. I tried to explain to him that I properly applied this company with CBP with my tn status and that I had no control over which way I was getting paid.

He revoked both of my TNs and said I can not enter the us today. Took me to the back and fingerprinted me and took a picture of me.
Lastly he made me swear on the I-877 and then escorted me back to Canada.

1. What is your best advice on how to proceed this?

2. I had a consult with someone and he said I could try to get my tn revocation reversed so I can at least finish my current job which ends this Friday.

3. If I am able to enter this week, after finishing my current employment, I plan to get a improved document and supporting letter for my new employer and I plan to go back to the same port and see if I can get approved.

4. Not sure about my part time job as they have said I violated NAFTA because I am self employed.

What are your thoughts?

Looking forward to hearing back from you all.

Thanks so much,

You need a GOOD lawyer at this point. Why would you have a tax return with you at the border -- that is NOT required documentation ?! And why did you quit your other job?! NEVER quit a TN job until the new one is secured.

Getting permission for the job that ends Friday is pointless. It's over. The other job apparently wasn't viable either, was it? Why not resurrect that one instead. A good lawyer would have told you that 1099 WAS legal (the officer's only error), and would be helping you keep that for that job, not theone you quit.

At this point you need to get legal help to allow you back in on your 1099 job and/or fix the petition for the project manager (if that is even possible).
