I received my approval notice yesterday. I'll go stamping next week. Can someone please tell me what time to go is the best?
Is there a long line? How many hours of waiting?

Thanks!

We went for 485 stamping last Friday(02/27). Friday usually low volume day. We reached JFK building (side entrance) at 7am, nearly 150 people standing in front of us. By the time we come to security screening 50 people behind us. Took the token at 7:45am and got I-89 forms. Passport stamping started at 8am, only one guy with French beard doing multiple things including passport stamping. Officer called us at 11:00am took all documents 485 courtesy copy, EAD(s), AP(s), passport, I-89 and 2 photos. No questions asked stamped passport and said cards will come in 6-12months. We got out around 11:15am. Its better to stand in line early.

On wednesday it took 3 and 1/2 hours.
We came at around 10 am and left 1.30 pm.
I counsider, that was long wait. I almost fell asleep with token in hand while waiting for our turn.

So, it doesn't metter when you go. Be advised, that they are closed at 1pm, thus morning hours are better.

Good luck.
