Boston Stamping Problem-please help

I-485 approval says to fill form I-89 for stamping.But at Boston INS i signed (and fingerprint taken) on form I-551 .Passport also stamped saying processes form I-551 .
Is that ok ? What are your experience ?

My PP stamp says the same as yours: "Processed form I551". I don\'t know which form I signed and FPed, I didn\'t look at its title.

I got my passport stamped today at Boston. I think the form that we submitted was I-89. However, the I-89 is used to obtain the initial card (I-551). I remember seeing these numbers I-551 etc at the top of the I-89. I-551 is the general green card. I think the green cards given to Mexican and Canadians have a different numer (I-552 etc. I think).
Just my 2 cents.
