MA SESA is now processing:

Non RIR 4/30/2001
RIR 2/11/2002 to 3/11/02

Seems like they have really started moving the RIR cases, let's hope the DOL can keep up!

Congrats to those who got their LC certified.
Hope to get some response on mine soon.

Still somewhere (either SESA or in between...) Some of the guys from our batch got their papers back, but mine seems to be OK.

Do you guys know if several people were filed at the same time from the same company, and they have pretty close PD, and then some of them are getting some response back from SESA to send some add info.
What's going on with the rest from the batch ? DO they have to put on hold, or their cases could be approved and moved to DOL, and do not wait for the others ?

The company says that some paperwork were missed, and they did reply immidiatelly, and the guys are not gonna miss their PDs. Is that true statement ?

Hi Guys,

Can you guys please tell me how to find out whether my case has entered into the Boston DOL\'s system or not. My company's lawyer only told that my case was filed at CT on May, 2001.

Finding your case status

Hi:

Here are the options to find your SESA/DOL status:

1) To check if case has entered into DOL or not: Call 617-565-4446. You will be asked for SESA case number.

2) To check if DOL has certified your case or not:

- Option 1: Call 617-565-2191. Choose option 1 and then you will be asked for DOL case number.

If the number is engaged this option is better
- Option 2: Email lcstatus01@doleta.gov (this is for Boston DOL only).
Examples shown below:
Option A: (by DOL case number)
In the Subject type the following, you will get an automated response.
Case 01000024

Option B: (by Employer Phone Number)
In the Subject type the following, you will get an automated response.
Employer Phone (800) 111-2222

Option C: (by Emplyer Tax Id)
In the Subject type the following, you will get an automated response.
Tax ID 12-3456789

013251**, from our company,
enter DOL on 10/1/02, certified on 10/4/02.
But how can I know which case is mine, I only
know my SEAS #, how to convert that to DOL #,
and what does DOT code stand for, is DOT
999-151-061 an EB2 RIR or EB3 RIR?

Pls also share DOT code in the updates.

Called DOL today, and the following info was what might be of
some value.
Other cases are more preferable in DOL rather than software
engineers in the DOT codes of 999.151-031/032. And those
cases are normally taking longer to be processed, even may
be stopped for a while in some cases.
It does show this trend in the cases of my company. Cases
other than 999.151-03* have been certified in one or two
weeks after they reached DOL, but for cases under that
category, no cases have been certified since July.
So, pls also show your DOT code in updates, that will be
more useful for reference purpose.

Is there any info on what will happen to the applications with these job codes ? ie Is there any time frame for revisting these applications or are they going to sent RFEs for these ?

I have no idea what they would do with these cases, just
the fact that they put low pioritiy on them, and it takes
longer to process them.
I called them because all cases other than that category
have been certified in our company, but no one is touched
which follows in that, even some of them are two months
earlier in PD than certified ones. I was told SW engineer cases
take longer, and the time frame is hard to determine, but
generally they are processing Apr/May cases now.

Well, I have couple of collagues whose Labor was approved on Aug 28 with DOT code of 999.151-032. There cases were received in DOL on Aug 23. So, it's hard to believe that DOL is not processing 999.151-03* cases.
 
SESA number

How can one find out what his/her SESA number is? Should my lawyer know this off hand or he needs to inquire about this. Please, give me some info. I have been unable to find out the status of my case for close to a year now.

DOT code ?

Hi Guys,

How do you find out SESA case number using DOL's case number.\
One of our cases has been certified by SESA, and got into a DOL
database #013254XX, DOL RD 10/08/02.

Have no more details, even have no idea who is that...

And, could you please tell me what is the title for DOT: 999.151-051

I just learned that my case entered DOL.

By the way, does anybody know what the 999.151-032 means? Does this affect the processing time for certification?

PD: 4/29/02; EB3-RIR;

Since the MA SESA is processing cases between Feb and March 2002, has anyone with PD somewhere in 2002 entered DOL yet or been certified?
