Boston PP Stamping Experience

Just got passport stamped this morning in Boston. Got there at 7:30am, and a somewhat unfriendly old guy at the door asked me to go back out in the hall to get my fingerprint taken at the "form" desk. Waited about an hour for the "C" counters. A nice lady at the window took away my courtesy copy of I-485 approval notice(didn\'t even ask for original), photos, EAD and Adv Parole, and stamped my passport. She told me that I could use this stamp for travel and work purposes, and the actual card would be in the mail in about 6-8 months (of course, I hope I could be as lucky as some of you on this site, that is, 1-2 months for the card).

I stepped outside at about 8:30am, actually feeling somewhat funny. I looked up at the bright blue sky and took a long deep breath. All of a sudden my frustrating 4-year wait doesn\'t seem so bad any more.

Thanks again to everyone on this site. Good luck to the rest of you! (Immitracker is updated.)
