boston EAD question

Do I need to bring photos with me or the INS office will take the pictures? What's the latest filing fee for EAD?

there is photo shop inside Boston INS service center so if u dont have photo & they need it u can get it right there.

RAD filing fees are $ 120.00 & you have to take MO or Banker cheque with you. Even you can purchase MO from the shop inside the boston INS burt it safe to take it with you becuse you need it.

While for photo i am not sure I went there for EAD renewal & they take my application but told me to come again as there camera was not working on that day which means they are taking picture there itself. But i am not sure for fresh EAD application.

I would only like to add that photos for EAD (both first time and renewal) are taken at Boston, INS. Fee for EAD $120.00 (MO or Banker's check only)

For AP you need to carry your own photos or take it at the photoshop in the building. I think the fee is $110.00

Hey, I got Attorney Murthy's bulletin today which has the first line item as INS has asked Regional offices to stop processing same day EAD and AP....

did you hear anything on this?

and I quote....

"...1. Most Same-Day EADs and Advance Paroles End

The INS has issued a memorandum directing all INS offices to stop same day issuance of benefits when there is a temporary "A" file. The "A" file is the official INS file, which should include all the information available on an applicant. The INS sometimes creates temporary "A" files, when the permanent file is with another office or in other similar situations. The procedures for temporary files are discussed below. Even where the regular "A" file is available, the memo requires elaborate procedures that will result in delays in the process. The memo has not been released, but the American Immigration Lawyers Association has compiled a summary, based upon reports from INS spokespeople. As a result of the memo, all INS offices that previously issued Employment Authorization Documents (EADs) and/or Advance Paroles (APs) on a one-day or walk-in basis will no longer do so.

Photos are not needed for EAD, I went there on wed. for EAD renewal and came out with my new EAD card, lucky me.

Go in early (6AM), bring with you the following
$120 bankers check or money order drawn on I.N.S.
i765 Application completed and signed
Copy of i485 Notice
Copy of your old EAD card (front and back)
Original EAD card
2 photo id's (drivers linense and passport)
