Hi luckymb,
I am in a similar RD/ND date range as you are and did my FP1 on 11/02/02 in Boston. Still waiting for my FP2 notice to come.
To reach Boston ASC, you can go to NorthStation and then come out to causeway street. ASC is on Portland Street I remember there is a Dunkin Donut where you take a left and then you can see the ASC on your right. Please double check and look at the following page you might get some more idea.

If you are planning to take public transportation,
take the T orange line and get down at North station, Portland street is just one block from the station , (hardly 3 min walk)
you have to exit towards the fleet center

Early FP done...
Hi All,
As mentioned earlier, my FP2 date was 5/5/04 and I got it done this am (3/30/04) in the Boston ASC. They rolled their eyes when they saw my actual date, but I told them that I was not sure if I can show up on the appointed date because of my pregnancy. They just smiled and let me and my husband get our FP today.
If anyone can go on Saturday when folks say that it is less crowded, then you should. I work in Boston and live in the burbs. So coming in on Saturday for this was not an option. It was crowded and it took about 90 min, since I left office and came back.
Also, Please take your EAD cards with you. They want it to verify you Alien # with a photo id. It was not mentioned in the notice to bring it, but more than one person asked to see it. I did not have it on me and they were okay. But I think they would have preferred to have seen it.
