Born outside USA

My father in Law just found a letter for USA goverment that they decided to give him a new position, the date of the leteer in 1980 and they mentioned in the letter that the hiring date was 1975, i think it will be enough, right?

Maybe, maybe not. Depends on the type of job (could it have been done outside* the US at least some of the time?), and the consulate may have doubts about whether the employment was continuous from 1975 to 1980, or the length and number of vacations. You should gather more documents, as they might not recognize the full 5 years.


*however if it's for the Federal government, I think the time would be counted for this purpose even if the work was done outside the US.

Can i apply 600K before getting the Canadian Passport? to get the canadian passport it taks 2 months.

So can i submit the form before getting the Canadian Passport or i have to wait till have it?

Yes once you have the birth certificate you can apply before the Canadian passport is issued. But the passport will be required at the end of the process to travel to the immigration office in the US for the final step.
