Born in Saudi Arabia, has an H1

Hi,
I was born in Saudi and now working in US on H1-Visa. I am an Indian Citizen. I want to apply for green card through my employer. Is there any chance that i will get Visa faster than other Indian Born Indian Citizens who are applying at the same time. If yes, my second question is how much time it usually takes to process DV visa?

Another question which i wanted to ask is, do i have an advantage while applying for DV if i have an H1?

Hi Bade Miya,

The intention of DV is to have mix of different culture. So having an H1 would not improve the chances. It's a random selection of peole from diverse background.

Since you are on H1, is it not possible to do 140 and 485 processing through your employer.
