I travel to Canada often as my Wife is a Canadian citizen and her family lives there. Since I can not apply for her adjustment of status as we married after my case was approved. For my traveling I have to apply and obtain the following to travel to Canada and come back.

- Refugee Travel Document $100 + (2-4 month procedure)
- Obtain a Canadian Visa $ 100 (Travel 300 or so miles to consulate- have not had good experince with Mail-in application
even though it was throughly documented and had supporting documents)

Is anyone familiar with Border Crossing Card to travel to Canada.

Do us asylee's can apply for it?
Having a border crossing card will then not require to have a RTD and obtaining a visa ?

If anyone can share their experience with either applying and obtaining a Border crossing card and also how is the travelling experience with it, it will be appreciated.

Thanks!

Border crossing cards are only issued to Mexican nationals who want to commute to the US very often and prove that they are eligible for it.
Canadian nationals dont require anything as they can enter the US based on their citizenship.
