Bizarre status change after passport stampimg

Bizarre!!!

I got approved on 6/22. Got my passport stamped on 7/9.

But yesterday my status changed to this:

On June 27, 2004, your I485 Application to Register Permanent Residence or to Adjust Status was received here for processing. It is taking between 660 and 660 days for us to process this kind of case. We will mail you a decision as soon as processing is complete

I am not sure what does this mean? Anyone with similar experience?
 
Online status is unreliable.

It means CIS doesn't follow proper protocol and update the online status when required to do so.

What is this a case of addiction? Why on earth are you still checking your status after approval? :)

As long as you have received your approval, I wouldn't worry too much over status changes on the INS website, it is irrelavent.

Calm down 140!

I did not check the status until I got a email last night from INS about the status change.

What about the status change once they order card? I saw some people posting that there will be another status change before INS actually orders/mails the card. I know it is too early for me to expect that as I did my stamping on 7/9.

This only means that your approval was reversed and now your
approval is back to the pending state. :cool:

So now you will have to tear the I551 stamp from your passport.

:) Okay Okay I am playing with you.

But what I wanted to say was that my status never changed to
approved and my status is still FP recieved. And I stamped my
passport on 6/22

Three weeks have passed and no sign of physical card yet. So
it only means that if you go in this tristate then your physical
card is delayed a lot. Otherwise many people who stamped in
San Jose got it in just 2 weeks.

Did you get welcome notice or approval notice. As there was confusion about these notices on this fourm. If you already got approval notice, I would not worry too much. The status updating not real update and not reliable. I did 2nd FP last week of June, my FP results are not updated yet.
 
i got my I485 approved recently.........and i am not sure what documents i need for stamping......
can you please give me details about stamping..........
 
If you are in one of the infopass area then schedule an appointment.

You need to carry your passport, I-94, approval notice,all previous EAD and APs and 2 ADIT photos. And ofcourse, the photo id to get you in the building.
