BirthCertificate Question... Please help

Friends,
I have only the Birth Certificate from India (written in English) but issued last year. Do, I need one or more Affidavit also or this Ceritificate I have is enough.

Has anybody got through with just the Birth Certificate.

Please share your experience.

Affidavit Absolutely unnecessary if you have Government issued birth certificate.

But having said that getting an affidavit from 2 persons who was present during your birth would not hurt. Its cheap also.

Thanks a lot SivaShanmugam for your reply.
My concern was mostly because I did not have a birth certificate when I was born. The one that I have submitted has been issues late last year. I have heard from friends that they do not accept the birth certificate even thought it is given by government agencies if it has been issued recently. They will issue RFE and ask for Affidavits.

Please share your thoughts or experiences.
