Birth Date on EAD was wrong

My Birth Date on EAD was wrong. Currently I am working using the EAD, Today I went for my Fringer print and then only I notice that my DOB was wrong. I ask my lawyer and he give me three options, 1) Again applying for renewal of EAD, 2) Leave it as it is , according to him it will not be a problem, and 3) Sending a correction to INS and he said that most probebly INS will not care for these correction for EAD. Any one has that kind of experience ?
I just ask him to send a correction to INS and as he said it is not a big deal, I am not going to apply for renewal, But yet I want to have some opinion from the member of the board,

My wife had the same problem

She called IIO and the INS sent a letter to us asking us to send the Original EAD & the letter they sent us. She got her card now. The whole process took 6 weeks. Its upto you to decide which option too choose but this will give an idea of how long it will take to get a new card. Good luck.
