Birth cirtificate issue

I was born in Orissa, but since from age 1 I lived in bangalore, I have no idea how to get my birth certificate. I am in big trouble.

since, birth certificate is very crucial document, I need to have it, but it is impossoble for me to get from where I was born.

Guys, any input from you is really appreciated.

Affidavit of Birth

Get an affidavit from your mother (preferable) or father stating facts about your birth and a non-availability certificate from the municipal corporation from where you were born. If that is not available, get a copy of your school leaving certificate. That should have your DOB on it. That should be sufficient. Consult the consulate if you want more information.
 
Let me add.........what is your place of Birth in PassPort ?

You have to get a non-availibility certificate for your place of birth[in PP!].... then get a simple affidavit..... + SSC certificate. That it!

I was born in orissa, in my passport it is mentioned that way.

Do I have to get non avaiblity from orissa ?, since I live in bangalore. I never been to orissa past 30 yrs.

* Is it sufficient if I get affidavit from my mother& father
* SSC certificate

Where would I get non availablity certificate from ?
