Birth Certificate

My name is mentioned as K.S. Anil on the birth certificate. But on all other records like school/college leaving certificate, university degree, passport etc my name is Anil. Will the INS accept my birth certificate as is? If not then what sort of evidence will have to be provided to them? Does anyone have similar experience? Any help is appreciated.

get the birth affidavits from your parents.

Go to the nearest Indian consulate and they will issue a birth certificate in the same name as in your passport same day.

INS does not accept birth certificates issued by Indian Consulates.

INS may accept Consulate Birth Certificate

My wife and I got Birth certificate from Indian Consulate and did not get an RFE for that.
My wife got an RFE but that was for Medical Exam.
May be we were lucky. I did not submit any affidavits also.
