Is tough for me to get an original birth certificate, is a photocopy enough?
I have an old copy that I can photocopy.
Is the same one I was born just once:D

It may be, they did not ask to see mine, but they do ask you to bring originals of tiems submitted with the N-400.

Probably just go to the interview and if they ask, your decision may be delayed until you get one. At my interview the IO asked only for my GC and DL. Even though I had a briefcase bulging with documents and was ready for any document request. :D

Hell, I even had my Mother and Father's Birth Certificates. :D

Birth certificates are usually not needed for the interview. They already have them from your GC application. Have they asked you for the birth certificate, or are you just trying to be thorough?

Sometimes they do ask for the birth certificate. For example: http://forums.immigration.com/showthread.php?t=303313

You can take the chance of going to the interview without the birth certificate; if they don't ask to see the original, you're fine, but if they ask for it your case will be delayed until you get one. Possibly denied if you can't get it within 30 days or whatever deadline they give you.

Is that "old copy" certified by the issuing authority? They don't need a true original; if the interviewer asks for your birth certificate they only expect an official certified copy from the issuing authority. If that "old copy" itself is not a photocopy, but is a certified copy, you should be OK.

My wife was asked for marriage certificate and a copy was sufficient. It likely depends on the IO and if they need to see your birth certificate at interview (ex: in order to check name discrepancy between green card and foreign passport)
