Birth certificate

Hi,
My wife does not have her name in the birth certificate. It just states her parents name and a female baby was born to them on..... etc. Did anyone has this problem? I am planning on applying for 485. Do affidavits from parents work? Any suggestion would be highly appreciated.

affidavitt!!

It is recommended to get two affidavits (preferablly uncles/Aunties) along with what you have!! Yes, my brother got such as back up and submitted along with his post dated (which is also not acceptabel sometimes) birth certificate.
