I'm trying to get my birth certificate. Please help me with what kind of documents do I need for this. An affidavit from my parents is sufficient. Or do I need to get the one written in native language. Please clarify this one ASAP.

You need a copy of the original plus one interpreted. and then get it notarized! thats what i had to do.

Get two affiidavits for each applicant. One from a parent and the other from uncles, aunts etc. Make sure the send person giving affidavit is 7-10 years older than you, just to make sence to say that he/she witnessed your birth.
